Job Overview

Electrician position available in a fast-growing Aerospace based Engineering company based in Redditch. Current customer base includes some of the biggest names in the industry. Continued expansion provides excellent opportunities for employee progression and development.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret electrical drawings/schematics. Assembly Electrical Control Panels. Install, modify and repair electrical wiring on our new machines and machines in services on customer sites. Install various types of containment. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and codes. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion. Assist in Testing and Commissioning activities Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.

Experience

Competent in General Electrical installations (LV Power, lighting, sockets, etc.) Competent installing cable containment to a high standard (Tray, trunking, conduit) Competent installing armoured cables, including making off glands. Experience wiring Special purpose machine Instrumentation and control panel wiring. Excellent fault finding skills

Required Qualifications

Appropriate technical qualifications e.g. C&G 2360, 2330, 2365 etc. NVQ Level 3 AM2

Desired Qualifications

C&G 2382: 18th Edition ECS Gold Card

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 20.44-21.84 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
