Job Description

Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: -

Technical

Undertake installation works of all aspects of electrical services, including electrical switchgear, distribution boards, lighting and other electrical equipment.

To have knowledge of inspection and testing procedures and certify works upon completion in accordance with relevant certification.

To undertake reactive and planned service works ensuring client expectations are met - basic lamp/control gear replacement to new installations or upgrades.

Be able to carry out survey for proposed works when required.

Disclosure Scotland Certificate will require to be carried out

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Required:

Valid ECS Grade Card

Recognised Apprenticeship / Electrician SVQ Level 3

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Approved Health & Safety Assessment

Full driving licence.

Emergency Lighting Testing to BS5266 experience

Previous experience working within commercial projects / minor works / maintenance environment.

Ability to use electronic hand held devices.

Preferable but not compulsory

City & Guilds 2391, (2391/2394/2395)

PASMA certification

IPAF Certification - Types 1a, 3a & 3b

PAT Testing experience

Personal Attributes

Ability to work on own initiative and or as part of a team.

Possess effective communication skills with ability to write technical reports and or communicate verbally with colleagues and client representatives.

Pay: 19.00-21.00 per hour
