About The Role

Electricians - Sizewell B Power Station

Contract type:

Fixed term until 30/06/2026 approx.

Start date: 05/05/2026 - Dependent on CTC clearance status

Salary:

22.44 per hour NAECI Rates

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance with appropriate health and safety, risk and quality requirements ensuring both the safety of yourself and those around you.

Read, interpret and apply engineering drawing information.

Installation of a variety of wiring and containment systems in both administration and plant areas.

Isolation and reinstatement of electrical services

Undertake planned and corrective maintenance on all electrical equipment, ensuring legislative compliance and all works are carried out fully comply with BS7671.

Diagnose and rectify faults on a variety of electrical systems to maximise plant uptime

Produce and amend relevant documentation including but not limited to inspection reports, built drawings and maintenance logs.

Key Requirements:

Recognised apprenticeship at Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Maintenance BS 7671 IEE Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
CompEx Ex001 - EX004
CCNSG Safety Passport CTC clearance or willing to undergo this

Desirable

City & Guilds 239-1 Inspection and Testing or equivalent
Recent experience working in high hazard environments, either in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Nuclear industry i.e. Top Tier COMAH.
