The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering a high standard of work, with excellent diagnostic and testing skills, and the ability to identify, trace, and repair faults across a wide range of domestic electrical systems, including central heating repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance to a high professional standard in occupied and vacant properties.
Undertake fault-finding, testing, and inspection work, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Respond to reactive maintenance requests and complete planned works effectively.
Work on various types of domestic central heating systems, identifying and resolving electrical-related faults.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and testing results.
Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with relevant legislation and best practice.
Essential Requirements:
Eligible to work in the UK.
Fully qualified electrician (time-served, with recognised industry certification).
Minimum 2 years' references/work history.
Proven experience working within the social housing sector or similar domestic property environments.
Strong diagnostic, testing, and fault-tracing skills.
Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
