Electrician
to join our professional team.

As an
Electrician
in our social housing division, you will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and repair services in both occupied and void properties. You will ensure that all electrical work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, contributing to the safety and satisfaction of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
:
Carry out electrical installations, inspections, testing, and repairs in residential properties.
Perform PAT testing and work with electrical systems in occupied and void properties.
Ensure compliance with all electrical regulations (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition) and health & safety standards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
Complete necessary documentation, including test certificates, reports, and compliance paperwork.
Work closely with residents, ensuring minimal disruption and delivering excellent customer service.
Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and stock levels.
Work in a team or independently, with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks effectively.
Essential Requirements
:
Full UK driving licence
(MUST have held for at least 1 year).
Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
(e.g., City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
certification.
Proven experience as an electrician, preferably within social housing or property maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, fault-finding, and repairs.
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the electrical field.
Desirable but Not Essential
:
Previous experience working in social housing or local authority maintenance.
Testing and inspection qualifications (e.g., 2391).
PAT Testing experience.
