Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Sub-Contract Electricians to join our team on a long-term basis. The role involves working on commercial and retail electrical installations across the UK.

About the Role:

Working on a variety of commercial and retail projects nationwide Installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems Working both day and night shifts as required by various projects, some of which involve working in live retail environments Willingness to travel and staying away from home will be a part of the role

Requirements:

Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / JIB Gold Card preferred) ECS card essential Own tools Transport negotiable 18th Edition and Testing & Inspection qualifications desirable Previous experience in commercial or retail fit-out environments Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

What you'll do

Installation of electrical systems in mainly in retail and commercial environments with occasional domestic works. Read and interpret drawings, specifications and schematics to ensure accurate installations. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Undertake testing, commissioning and ensuring installation works are to the required standard. Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure seamless integration of electrical installations coordinated with other trades and services. Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience as an electrician in both industrial and commercial settings. Level 3 NVQ with a ECS card. Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation methods.

Pay: 60,000.00-80,000.00 per year
