Mostlane are expanding, and we're looking for a

high-calibre Approved Electrician

to join our fast-growing, forward-thinking team based in Segensworth (Fareham).

We operate across the South Coast delivering a wide variety of works including

reactive & planned maintenance

for well-known retail and commercial clients.

You won't be stuck doing the same thing every day--you'll be involved in:

Commercial electrical works Maintenance and fault finding EICR testing across retail and commercial sites Fit-outs, submains, containment, upgrades Occasional domestic works for long-standing clients

The Role



We are seeking a

Gold Card Approved Electrician

who is confident working independently, leading smaller installations, and supporting larger projects as part of a team.

You'll also carry out electrical testing (mainly commercial), produce high-quality reports, and engage with customers professionally on-site.

Job Type:

Employed or Self-Employed

Salary:

45,000 - 50,000 (DOE) - Engineers typically earn

significantly above the base salary

through regular overtime and enhanced rates.

Required Experience & Qualifications



JIB Gold Card 18th Edition + City & Guilds 2391 / 2395 (Inspection & Testing) Minimum

2 years commercial testing experience

Solar PV experience beneficial but not essential Strong customer service skills (commercial & domestic)

Schedule



Monday to Friday Overtime available at enhanced rates Optional on-call rota Plenty of opportunity to grow your portfolio and skill set

Primary Duties



Install, maintain and repair electrical systems safely and to a high standard Carry out commercial EICRs and remedial works Install all forms of containment and cable management Lead or support installation teams depending on project size Communicate clearly with clients and provide technical advice where needed Use our digital platform to manage job allocations and update works Order materials as required and ensure site readiness Coordinate with subcontractors when necessary Complete paperwork and certification accurately
