Monday - Friday 08:00-16:00 (37.5 hours per week) with on call rota every 6 weeks.

ENHT is looking for a skilled, adaptable electrician to join their NHS acute team services in Hertfordshire, where you'll work on everything from fault finding to maintaining essential systems.

Duties include:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across hospital systems. Diagnose and repair faults on building services including electrical distribution, fire alarms, nurse call systems, motors, and ventilation plant. Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, completing risk assessments for relevant tasks. Maintain plant and equipment efficiently using appropriate tools and servicing equipment. Order engineering spares, materials, and equipment as required. Take part in emergency responses including fire alarm activations and lift trappings. Supervise contractors and carry out minor electrical installations and improvements in line with regulations. Participate in the Trust-wide emergency on-call rota. The skills required are:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent City & Guilds Level 3 Inspection & Testing 18th Edition Wiring Regulations First Aid & Health & Safety certification PAT Testing (City & Guilds 237)

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
