We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. This role involves working on various electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, domestic or industrial settings. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems. Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards. Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions promptly. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and best practices. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project completion. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician. Own tools needed (essential) Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, inspection, testing and safety standards. Strong knowledge of central heating electrical installation work. Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory. Occasional weekend work may be required.
