We are seeking a skilled, hardworking, and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. Duties
Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with regulations and safety standards.
Troubleshoot electrical faults using hand tools and power tools, diagnosing issues efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures and ensure optimal operation of electrical installations.
Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
Proficiency with hand and power tools is essential for electrical work.
Previous electrical experience in industrial or commercial settings is highly desirable.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams effectively.
Relevant qualifications such as a recognised Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent.
Essential Qualifications
- Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology, Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services - Electrical Installation, AM2 Certificate, Level 3 award in the requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018
Desirable Qualifications
- Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installation, Working in the vicinity of DNO/IDNO equipment (Including G39), Safe Isolation Procedures
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures in all aspects of work.
A valid UK driving licence is essential. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to apply their electrical skills in a professional setting while contributing to safe and efficient operations across our projects.
Expected hours: No less than 45 per week + Overtime when required.
Work Location: A mix of local and remote work. Being able to work away when needed is a must.
