Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in houses and commercial properties across the local area and into central London. Much of work is carried out on building sites and property refurbishment projects. Duties

Install, test, and commission fixed electrical wiring systems, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with current IET regulations and manufacturer instructions. Conduct electrical inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot electrical faults using hand tools and power tools, diagnosing issues accurately and efficiently. Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and other electrical components. Maintain accurate testing schedules and detailed work diaries of completed tasks. Experience with Google Workspace and electrical testing software an advantage. Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects within deadlines. Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies.

Skills

Experienced and competent in use of hand tools and power tools. Solid electrical experience with a thorough understanding of wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues swiftly. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical installation or maintenance are essential.
