Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in using both power and hand tools. This role involves working on various electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Work is predominately in the Midlands area.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Read and interpret, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems. Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently and safely. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any materials used.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety practices. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work. Ability to read technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: 12.00-20.00 per hour
