4-day week (Mon-Fri) on a rolling schedule (7:15am-6:00pm shifts)

Band 4 - 12.86 per hour

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to help us maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors at Torbay Hospital.

Temporary placement up to 6 months

Duties

Perform planned and reactive maintenance across the Trust estate, working closely with other trades.

Ensure all electrical systems and equipment are compliant, safe, and operational.

Respond to emergency call-outs and participate in the on-call rota.

Embrace a varied, hands-on role -- no two days are the same!

Reat work life balance working a 4-day week (Mon-Fri) on a rolling schedule (7:15am-6:00pm shifts).

Be flexible with shift times to meet clinical service needs.

Qualifications

Level 3 BTEC/City & Guilds/apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering OR equivalent industry training.

Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and multi-skilled trades.

Strong awareness of electrical/mechanical safety, asbestos, and water safety.

IT literacy and experience with control systems.

Valid UK driving licence.
