We are looking to recruit full time Maintenance Electrician to work at our sites in the Bedfordshire area
We are a JIB employer and provide JIB benefits, Life Insurance, Bupa, Sick Benefit and Pension. You will be eligible to join the standby rota 1 in 4 and will receive an additional payment of 1050 per year. Overtime will be paid at JIB overtime rates.
Normal Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30
As a Maintenance Electrician you will be responsible for fault finding and carrying out repairs on all electrical equipment and on projects as required.
Qualifications and Required Experience
You will need experience in Commercial/Domestic Electrical Installations and Maintenance works.
Essential Qualifications
City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 Electrical or equivalent
City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 Electrical or equivalent.
City & Guilds 2382 18th IEE Regulations
Demonstrate experience in installation, maintenance and repair of wide and varied electrical systems.
Undertake essential repair and fault finding on critical systems and equipment
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance/ response works and completing all job packs on PDA.
Installation, maintenance of lighting systems
Complete all task/risk assessment sheets and method statements relating to work
Responsible for undertaking electrical isolation.
All staff are required to participate in an out of hours on-call rota on a rotational basis.

All operatives are required to participate in the local on call rota's which is normally on a 1 in 4 or less basis but is site base dependant.
