Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. This role involves working on various construction sites, reading blueprints, and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical installations. Conduct tests using ammeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues in both high voltage and low voltage applications. Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and regulations. Perform frame carpentry as needed to support electrical installations.

Experience

Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial or commercial settings is preferred. Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ammeters, and ohmmeters. Previous experience on construction sites is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
