across the UK. We are currently seeking a
highly skilled Electrician
to join their expert team and play a vital role in maintaining and servicing their specialist equipment.
The Role
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the
repair, maintenance, testing, and installation
of a wide variety of
specialist electrical and mechanical equipment
. You'll split your time between
in-house workshop duties
and
occasional on-site support
, ensuring all equipment meets safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine maintenance and testing on tunnelling sector hire equipment.
Diagnose and repair faults, assemble new machinery, and upgrade existing assets.
Provide reactive and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
Conduct on-site troubleshooting and installations as required.
Support the upkeep of workshop and office facilities.
Oversee installations of plant and tunnelling equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
(essential).
ECS Gold Card
(preferred) - or readiness to obtain one immediately.
Experience with
3-phase systems
,
motor control systems
(star-delta, inverters, soft starters).
Proven track record in
electrical maintenance, testing, and fault finding
.
Knowledge of
health and safety compliance
in high-risk environments.
Safety Critical Medical certification is advantageous but not essential.
