Job Overview:

Established for over 35 years Rothwell Plumbing Services Group (RPS Group) and RPS Electrical, are a family run business who are specialists in what we do. RPS Group are specialist's in delivering Renewables, Plumbing & Heating, Mechanical & Electrical and Gas Servicing solutions.

As an Electrician at RPS Group, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance on a wide range of sites a strong background in domestic electrical engineering is essential.

We also install solar PV and air source heat pumps. Experience with solar and heat pump installations is not mandatory, training will be provide for the right candidate. You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals committed to delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Installations: Perform electrical installations and modifications for domestic projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

System Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, diagnosing and resolving issues as they arise.

Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and electrical regulations, including the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Ensure all work is compliant with legal and company standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including project managers and engineers, to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation details, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients, addressing their needs and concerns professionally and effectively.

Requirements:

Fully qualified electrician with an NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds.

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification required.

ECS Gold card holder

AM2

Testing & inspection (preferred)

Previous experience in solar PV preferred. (Training provided for right person)

Previous experience in heat pumps preferred. (Training provided for right person)

Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and safety regulations.

Full UK driving licence with fewer than six points and no previous disqualifications.

Ability to work independently and within a team, ensuring high standards of service.

Some working away may be required.

Basic salary: Up to 40,000 + Bonus OTE 50-60k
