Job Title: Newly Qualified Electrician - FM Contract Support

Location: Static, Osterley, London Borough of Hounslow

Reports To: Upgrade Electrician / Electrical Supervisor

Role Overview:


We are seeking a motivated and safety conscious Newly Qualified Electrician to join our facilities management team. This role involves supporting an experienced upgrade electrician in delivering electrical upgrades, maintenance, and compliance works across a portfolio of commercial properties. It's an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and grow within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Assist in the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.*
Support fault-finding and diagnostics under supervision.*
Carry out minor repairs and occasional planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.*
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current regulations and company safety standards.*
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.*
Build quotations for client approvals.*
Liaise professionally with site contacts and FM teams.*
Participate in toolbox talks and training sessions.*
Uphold high standards of housekeeping and site safety.*

Requirements:


Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Installation or equivalent.*
ECS Card (or eligible to obtain).*
Basic understanding of BS7671 Wiring Regulations.*
Strong willingness to learn and develop within the role.*
Good communication and teamwork skills.*
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.*

Desirable:


Experience gained through apprenticeship or work placement.*
Familiarity with FM environments (e.g., retail, office, healthcare, critical systems).*
Awareness of Health & Safety practices in construction/FM settings.*
Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).*
