Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring that electrical installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes during all electrical work. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problematic. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any materials used and time spent on tasks.

Skills

Proficient in the use of electrical tools, including power tools and hand tools. Strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring methods, and safety practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose faults efficiently. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when required. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory.
