Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electrician's Mate to join our growing team. You will working with a team responsible for the installation of fire alarm systems at various client sites across the UK. This role will require regular travel and overnight stays away from home, so flexibility and a strong work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation:

Work with the team with the installation of fire alarm and fire suppression systems, including 1st Fix, 2nd Fix, containment, tray work and conduit work ensuring compliance with British Standards.

Customer Interaction:

Act as the main point of contact for clients on-site, providing excellent customer service

Travel:

Be prepared for regular travel, including overnight stays away from home. The role will require working at different locations nationwide.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all health and safety standards on site, ensuring both your own personal and other workers safety at all times.

Troubleshooting:

Respond to system faults, providing troubleshooting and repair services on site.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 1 years experience in this role.

Technical Knowledge:

Must have experience in Tray work and Fire Alarm experience would be beneficial.

CSCS Card -

Must have a valid CSCS card or be able to have one in place for starting work.

Driving License:

Full UK driving license and the ability to drive to various locations across the UK.

Travel:

Willingness to travel and stay away from home regularly. Flexibility in working hours is required.

Communication Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, colleagues, and management effectively.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to diagnose faults and issues quickly and implement effective solutions.

Team Player:

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
