Kirklees Council, Homes and Neighbourhoods (H&N) is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of almost 22,000 homes and 300 public buildings across Kirklees. Working with our communities it is our vision to provide, 'Quality Homes and Services in successful communities'.


We are currently looking to appoint an Electrician's mate, to work in our planned electrical depot


As an Electrician mate working for H&N you will travel throughout Kirklees and the surrounding areas to deliver the duties of this role and meet the needs of the organisation and our customers. You will be required to work as part of a rewire team to deliver installations to a high standard.



To be considered for the role it is essential that you:

Have excellent communication and customer care skills to effectively liaise with a variety of customers and clients both internally and externally. Have experience of domestic and/or commercial electrical rewire projects Have a Full UK valid driving license.


You will be expected to work flexibly, around core hours, based on an annual hours allowance with the needs of the business being the priority. You may also be required to work overtime and be a participant on the call out rota as requested by management.
