Job Description

SINTEC UK is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Team Leader to oversee installation, maintenance, and commissioning of automation and conveyor systems on a construction site project in the UK. The role combines hands-on technical work with team supervision, ensuring high-quality and timely execution of electrical and mechanical installations in compliance with safety and client standards.

Key responsibilities include:



Oversee and participate in the installation and assembly of mechanical systems, including cable management infrastructure, panels, conveyor components, and auxiliary systems Conduct troubleshooting, functional testing, and commissioning to verify system integrity and performance Plan, organize, and allocate team resources in alignment with project scope, priorities, and deadlines Ensure all works are executed in strict compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and applicable safety and quality regulations Provide effective supervision, guidance, and mentorship to mechanics, ensuring optimal performance, productivity, and adherence to quality standards Participate in project initiation meetings and thoroughly review all relevant technical documentation prior to commencement Liaise with the Line Manager and client representatives to coordinate technical modifications and resolve project-related challenges Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation, ensuring timely submission of progress reports and records Manage materials efficiently by monitoring usage, maintaining inventory control, and reporting shortages promptly Foster clear, professional communication with clients, site management, and subcontractors to support seamless project delivery

Skills



Proven experience leading teams in industrial mechanical installation (min 3 years) At least 2 years of experience in managing electrical installation works, particularly in automation technologies such as conveyor systems and ASRS Strong understanding of technical drawings and project documentation Mandatory - SSSTS or SMSTS

and

ECS, SPA or VCA certification Technical qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; a degree or additional safety certifications are an advantage Full clean UK driving license Fluent in English, both verbal and written Knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage We can consider project-based contracts only; however, willingness to work on a project basis in various locations across the UK is required, if necessary, to maintain a long-term professional relationship
