Who you are:
We're looking for a motivated and passionate person who has a strong interest in embedded software & electronics design. You enjoy writing code, building and simulating circuits and you have a good intuitive understanding of discrete components. You're organized, methodical and take pride in doing things well. You love debugging code, troubleshooting circuits and always seek to understand the fundamental reason when things don't work.
You are capable of developing code from either a blank slate or building on an existing codebase. You understand the need for good documentation and don't see it as an impediment. You are a team player and like bouncing technical ideas with your colleagues.
They Daily Job:
Own the full lifecycle of electronics development--from concept to production
Design, develop, and test embedded firmware and hardware for commercial products
Lead EMC testing efforts, including lab visits and rapid iteration to meet compliance
Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into next-gen products
Create and maintain full design documentation: schematics, BOMs, PCB files, source code, and more
Troubleshoot faults at every level--code, component, and system--and drive root cause analysis
Continuously improve existing designs for performance, cost, and reliability
Support quality, repair, and customer service teams with technical expertise
Collaborate with external contractors to deliver high-quality electronics solutions

4. A demonstrated working knowledge of hardware design skills, especially:
a. Transistor-level circuit design.
b. Low-power DC-DC SMPS circuits (under 50W).
c. Various LED drive circuits.
d. Standard high-speed microcontroller communication circuits (SPI/ USB / etc).
e. General analogue electronics design including small signal handling and processing for input into microcontrollers.
5. Good prototyping skills, ability to solder fine pitch components and use common lab equipment (digital oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, etc).
6. Bare metal & RTOS microcontroller software development in C.
7. Detailed understanding of microcontroller peripherals down to register level and have experience writing low-level drivers for SPI / I2C / UART / ADC / PWM /etc.
8. Able to write non-blocking, clean, maintainable and reusable code from general requirements.
9. Experience with IOT technologies & common network protocols (Wi-Fi / BLE / MQTT / etc)
