About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer to join our dynamic team in the medical electronics sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge medical devices that improve patient outcomes and support healthcare professionals.
As an Engineer, you will assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems used in medical applications. You will work closely with senior engineers, regulatory teams, and manufacturing to help ensure products meet the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities will include:
Support the design and development of electronic circuits and embedded systems for medical devices
Assist in prototyping, testing and debugging hardware and firmware
Maintain component library, including new part creation, support for obsolescence and Bill of Materials (BoM) generation/update
PC Workstation support, ensuring compatibility of commercial and proprietary modules
Maintain documentation in accordance with ISO 13485 and other relevant medical device standards
Support production and field service teams with technical issues

Essential Skills & Experience
1-2 years of experience in electronics engineering or a Bachelor's, HND, etc in electronics engineering
Basic understanding of analogue and digital electronics
Familiarity with tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and soldering/rework equipment
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, regulated industry

Desirable Skills & Experience
Understanding of PC hardware (Upgrades, driver/operating system installation etc.)
Knowledge of programming/scripting
Familiarity with schematic/PCB layout software (e.g. Cadence OrCAD)
Experience in the medical industry
