We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and be adept at designing, developing, and testing digital and analogue electronic systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills to contribute to various projects involving system design and implementation. Not all the skills listed are essential as the successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplined team. The minimum requirements are a degree in Electronics or closely related subject. Experience is not absolutely necessary as training will be provided on the job.
Duties
Design and develop electronic systems.
Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing designs.
Utilise Orcad and other CAD systems for creating detailed schematics and layouts.
Designing with microprocessors and other digital integrated circuits.
FPGA design using Altera Quartus.
Develop firmware for embedded systems using languages such as C++, Python, .
Perform signal processing tasks to enhance system performance.
Engage in debugging processes to ensure functionality and reliability of electronic components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical knowledge into electronic designs.
Execute soldering techniques for surface mount technology (SMT) components.
Conduct system design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
Desirable Skills
Ideally proficient in CAD software, including OrCad and Autodesk for 3D modelling however training will be provided.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
Knowledge of FPGA technology
Experience with ARM architecture for embedded systems development is a bonus.
Familiarity with debugging tools and methodologies for effective problem resolution.
Ability to interpret complex schematics and technical documentation.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on detail-oriented work.
