Job Description




We are currently recruiting for an Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to join an award winning broadcast technology company whose products are used on major productions around the world. Working as part of a multi-discipline Engineering team as an Electronics Design Engineer you will play a key role in the development of new technologies and products for the company ensuring they stay at the forefront of the industry.

You will be working across the full product development lifecycle of the company\'s electronic and electromechanical systems and cover hardware architecture, specification and design ensuring cost, time and performance targets are met. You will also deliver operational solutions on site when required and help lead and motivate the team.

Applicants should have a proven background in working on successful electronics development projects ideally in the broadcast industry although transferable industry experience will also be considered. Excellent design, debugging, prototyping and testing skills of digital and analogue circuits including FPGAs, CPLDs, ADCs, DACs etc are essential and is excellent knowledge of electronic and electrical test equipment. Practical knowledge of design tools including Schematic Capture, Simulation and PCB layout is also important.

Additionally, knowledge of SDI, NDI, ST2110 and broadcast equipment communications protocols would be highly beneficial.

This role can offer hybrid working, the percentage of remote working being based on the successful candidates experience level and knowledge of relevant broadcast/video technologies.
