The Role
We are looking for an experienced Electronics Manufacturing Technician to join our small, and busy team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Test and inspect equipment for performance and reliability.
Assist in the assembly and production of components according to specifications and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and any defects.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot production problems and implement effective solutions.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain repairs folder, diagnose and repair faults (including servicing older models).
Regular stock takes.
Experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or technical role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with operating machinery and understanding basic mechanical principles is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping are beneficial.
Experience in analysing engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOM) for manufacturing and assembly processes.
