This is a pivotal, client-facing role that will own the full delivery experience for a selection of key accounts, ensuring every aspect of their partnership is executed flawlessly and aligned to their strategic objectives.

We need someone with a genuine passion for working directly with clients, who thrives on collaborating with multiple internal teams, including production, marketing, operations, and content, to deliver complex, high-value event packages.

About the Team

The role would be part of a 9 person team and is uniquely positioned to work with a broad range of departments across the business on a day to day basis. The Elite Client & Sponsorship team is responsible for the management and delivery of revenue generating products across the MWC and M360 events portfolio.
Working closely with the Sales Team, Heads of Events and delivery teams, the team will ensure client satisfaction across current products and programmes and turn new concepts and into viable and continuous revenue generating activities. The team works proactively to help customers gain the most value from their investment by establishing long term relationships and acting as trusted advisors.

About the Role

As an Elite Client and Sponsorship Delivery Manager you will be one of the main points of contact for clients and a subject matter expert across the GSMA events portfolio. You will be responsible for the success of your clients' programmes and delivering a world class service. You will partner with clients, develop strategies to drive engagement and provide solutions that add value and retain our client portfolio.

You will guide clients through their event delivery and demonstrate how they are able to maximise the benefits of the packages they have bought, as well as identify new opportunities that might help them meet their objectives.
Using a proactive, collaborative working approach with internal stakeholders, you will also contribute to the general development, implementation, and on-site delivery of products and programmes to ensure client satisfaction and achievement of KPIs. This role will see you be accountable for:Managing Elite clients from initial introduction throughout event cycle, reporting, and providing a best-in-class client relationship Contribute to the development of new revenue generate opportunities, discovering innovative ways to reach our Elite client goals and objectives (capture, scope, validate and obtain sign off of new products) Work closely with the relevant Account Managers and Elite Clients to understand each Client's overall objectives Lead cross-functional, virtual teams in matrix environment, ensuring flawless execution of programmes/products for your assigned Elite Clients Showing a clear understanding of Elite Clients objectives and how their sponsorships are delivering on those objectives Create sponsorship inventory, standardise language throughout all contractual deliverables that clearly define GSMA commitments Work closely with internal stakeholders - Sales, Programme Office, Operations, Marketing, Brand, Digital, PR, Content, Event Technology to identify new ways to optimize delivery for Elite Clients Ensure that contractual points for Elite Clients are agreed internally and inventories are accessible and tracked via appropriate system Ensure all deliverables are assigned and actioned using the appropriate process and carried out by the delivery teams Identify improvements to team processes, implement best practice and identify efficiencies to workflow and systems to maximise the quality standards of Event products Obtain client sign off, where relevant, ahead of production deadlines and provide progress reports to each client for the various milestones of their delivery Weekly reporting of key issues /milestones (project, operational and financial) to the Head of Elite Client Management and Sponsorship Delivery
About YouProven track record of managing high-value client relationships and delivering complex, high-profile experiences for clients Knowledge of international event delivery and familiarity with event industry trends and innovations. Exceptional project management ability, with a proven ability to identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Ability to deliver compelling presentations and clear, data-driven reports to inform stakeholders and support decision-making. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels. Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-driven approach. Confident working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multiple concurrent priorities. Proficiency in event management software, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
