We are seeking an Elite Retail Security Officer to join our dynamic team, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for customers and staff within a high-profile retail setting. In this role, you will be the first line of defence in preventing theft, deterring anti-social behaviour, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. Your main duties will include monitoring CCTV, conducting regular patrols, responding swiftly to security incidents, and working closely with retail staff to implement loss prevention strategies. You will also be responsible for completing detailed incident reports, managing access control, and assisting emergency services when required.
To excel in this role, you must demonstrate exceptional observational skills, strong communication abilities, and a calm, confident approach in challenging situations. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a customer-facing role is highly desirable. A valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor licence is essential. You should be physically fit, able to stand and walk for extended periods, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts-including evenings, weekends, and public holidays-is required.
