The Role

As a Mid-Level Software Developer at Eebz, you will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining software for both new and existing products and clients.

Working in a team of around 7 developers, you will have a minimum of 2 years' professional experience in software development and be an integral member of the team and indeed the business as a whole. To ensure success, you should have a good working knowledge of the Elixir programming language and basic knowledge of frontend programming (ideally JS) and using a framework like Vue. You also should have the ability to learn new technology quickly and work in a team environment.

Duties & responsibilities will include:

Writing and debugging code

Troubleshooting software issues

Working closely with all developers to improve product's functionality

Developing innovative solutions

Attending developer meetings

Participating in code reviews and quality assurance activities

Participating in estimation discussions with the product team

Continually improving coding skills

Requirements & qualifications required:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

2+ years professional experience as a Software Developer

Strong backend programming ability particularly in Elixir

Some experience and understanding of frontend programming, ideally with Vue.js

Strong in database systems and dev ops (preferably Azure)

A decent understanding in Kubernetes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical skills

Highly developed attention to detail

Ability to work well in a team environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

: Permanent

Working hours:

full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00).
