The Job Role

Based at our R&D facility at Rotherwas, an opportunity has arisen for an Embedded Software Engineer to join the design team working on a range of state-of-the-art search and rescue products for the aviation industry.

Requisite capabilities / experience:

Degree / HNC qualification (or equivalent experience)


Software design for embedded systems


C language for PIC microprocessors or ARM processors


Communication interfaces (RS232 RS485 USB Ethernet etc)


Software Design for PC (C#) Visual Studio


Use of laboratory equipment


Design for Manufacture; Design for Test

Key Responsibilities:

Production of Software / Hardware specification documentation Design of Software / Hardware for embedded control systems Design of Windows interface control software System test and debugging Support for existing products

Full time - Hours are based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with half an hour each day for lunch. No weekend, evening, or bank holiday working.

Due to the nature of the business being a manufacturing environment, working from home arrangements are not available.
