Responsibilities
Operate and maintain a variety of machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and CNC machines.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce precise components.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist in training new staff members on machining processes and safety protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in operating various machining tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous.
Ability to sew is considered a plus for specific tasks related to the role.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with colleagues.
