The Balance Sheet Mgmt Ld Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within their own field and contributes to business strategy. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Responsibilities:

Contribute to the review and analytics of the Balance Sheet and lead the transformation efforts for Funds Transfer Pricing and Interest Rate Risk in Banking Book from EMEA Corporate Treasury perspective. This includes

  • Providing Business Treasury related efforts for Citi\xe2\x80\x99s Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework & Interest Rate Risk for banking book (IRRBB) portfolios across the EMEA region
  • Support standardization and rollout of best practices for FTP including identifying and delivering process improvements, enhancing controls, and optimizing the tools used.
  • Lead on regional delivery of transfer pricing workstreams such as FTP framework updates, strategic system implementations and changes in response to market and regulatory developments.
  • Lead the transformation exercise for financial processes in relation to Funds Transfer Pricing and Balance sheet Forecasting especially with reference to Treasury balance sheet activities
  • Co-ordinate assumption reviews including deposits Betas assumptions, driving engagement across multiple cross-regional teams including the business and risk
  • Review and maintain transfer pricing set up for FTP & IRRBB reporting and forecasting. Creating reporting and monitoring capabilities to ensure accuracy and alignment to transfer pricing strategies
  • Maintain active partnership with ALM, Technology & Operations, Risk & Control functions & Independent Risk functions to achieve Transfer Pricing & IRRBB reporting and forecasting
  • Drives review & documentation of FTP & IRRBB processes and communicates issues, concerns, themes to constituents and Treasury leadership. Devises creative solutions to remediate concerns identified and communicate with stakeholders on action plans
  • Contributes to banking book interest rate risk analytics; engages in review and monitoring of IRRBB Limits
  • Works tactically to break through bottlenecks; owns influencing positive outcomes
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Knowledge / Experience:
  • Plenty of experience in Finance and/or Treasury
  • Business Process Re-engineering and Process Design/Control
  • Know-how of Banking Interest Rate Risk and Fund Transfer Pricing systems and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Knowledge of Balance Sheet Management, and/or Funds Transfer Pricing principles
  • Well-developed aptitude with databases, spreadsheets, and other applications
  • Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess a proactive work ethic and be a team player
Education:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, post graduate studies are a plus
  • Prior Treasury and/or Finance function experience required
