Job Summary:
As a Capital Markets AVP - VP at WeFi International , you will work with the Sales and Business Development Teams in transaction origination, with colleagues and Senior Management in Capital Markets on transaction structuring an execution, and with the Relationship and Operations Management teams once a transaction is live. You will drive the design of transactions across jurisdictions and under English, US or local laws and regulations. You will work with the broader team including Legal, Treasury, Accounting and IT in the development of the particular transactions. You will have a direct reporting line to Zug based SVP Capital Markets and Structuring at WeFi International.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage key parts of the financing transactions structuring process internally, ensuring adherence to best in class practices, company policies, processes and timelines
Ensure transactions follow product specifications and are documented accordingly with Legal, Operations, Treasury and all other stakeholders
Actively drive discussions with existing and potential financing partners and clients in order for all counterparties to be aligned with the transaction parameters - price, purchase and repurchase conditions, remedies, indemnities, etc.
Contribute to transactions pricing with Underwriting, development of the risk management framework and internal approval of the transaction with Treasury, Risk Management and Deal Acceptance Committee
Work closely with external Legal, Tax, Insurers, etc. in the transaction jurisdiction to ensure the transaction parameters and documentation align with all relevant laws and regulations
Follow financial regulations in the existing and potential transactions jurisdictions to understand if capital charges, insurance limitations, etc. will have impact on transactions
Required Qualifications:
University degree in economics or finance
4+ years structuring experience of financing transactions (ABL, Channel Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Capital Markets)
Deep understanding of legal, tax, accounting, capital, and risk aspects of financing transactions
Strong credit, market and operational risk understanding
Excellent client-facing and communications skills
Solid attention to detail and multitasking skills
Languages (fluency in English is a must and at least one other major European language)
