As a Vice President in the EMEA Prime Product Control team, you will lead and support your team, ensuring effective controls around reconciliations. You will proactively ensure compliance with Product Control Minimum Standards and report metrics to senior management. Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Financial Control, Market Risk, and VCG to resolve issues and enhance overall knowledge.



Job Responsibilities



Management and responsibility of production, preparation and reporting of the Daily P&L and Risk and ensuring it is completed in an efficient and controlled manner Partnering with the wider business to drive forth and implement robust controls and implement strategic initiatives Providing detailed analysis and commentary on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management Coordinating various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner Identifying and implementing continuous improvements and ensuring processes adapt to meet changing systems and evolving requirements Driving key projects and initiatives related to all the above, as well as larger cross-business programs

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills



Extensive work experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area Extensive experience of team management and ability to influence stakeholders Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships Experience with Alteryx or Python Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills



Qualified accountant Detailed understanding of equity swaps Strong Excel skills and a keen interest in process automation Multiple years of people management experience and a track record of developing individuals and building a team * Ability to challenge the status quo and tackle issues at their root cause
