As a Liquidity Product Control Vice President in the EMEA Payments Product Control team, you ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements and support the Treasury Services business. You will lead a team dedicated to maintaining strong controls, delivering meaningful analysis, and supporting business growth. You will collaborate with partners across the organization, drive compliance, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Job Responsibilities
Lead the EMEA Liquidity Product Control team, ensuring accurate and timely financial close processes
Analyze revenue drivers, balance sheet movements, and business activity to provide clear, actionable insights
Partner with Financial Control, Business Management, Middle Office, Technology, and Front Office teams
Support and oversee the month-end close process, including investigation and resolution of variances
Collaborate with the EMEA TS Liquidity business and F&BM team to maintain a strong control environment
Oversee monthly Liquidity forecasting in partnership with business managers and product partners
Manage the impact of legal entity and regulatory changes on product control for the Liquidity business
Participate in internal audits, risk reviews, and new product approvals from a finance control perspective
Ensure compliance with control policies, standards, and procedures, including P&L minimum standards
Contribute to transformational Liquidity initiatives and projects, working closely with strategy teams
Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the Product Control function
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent experience with strong accounting skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial control, product control, or related finance roles, with at least 3 years as a VP/ or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve control and risk management issues
Strong commercial acumen and financial services industry awareness
Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
Strong control mindset with attention to detail and ability to challenge the status quo
Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Ability to influence and direct activities of resources outside of direct control
Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering results
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Experience as a product controller in a financial services environment, with at least 3 years as a Vice President/or equivalent
Knowledge of Treasury Services, Liquidity, or cash management processes
Prior experience with cash accounts, nostros, and related operations
Track record of execution on finance and business deliverables
Experience managing or participating in transformational finance projects
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and environments
