Job Description

Working Pattern: Flexible hybrid - initially 1 day per week in the Glasgow office and 4 days from home. Once settled, this may reduce to 1-2 office days per month in the office, candidates must though be able to travel to the Glasgow office at short notice.


About the Role


We're excited to be supporting our client in their search for a highly capable EMEA Payroll Manager. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is confident in managing complex, high-volume payroll across multiple countries, including Germany and the Netherlands.




You'll play a key role in coordinating and leading all aspects of payroll, working closely with a third-party provider to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely delivery. What You'll Be Doing




Leading payroll operations from start to finish across multiple countries Acting as the main point of contact between internal teams and external payroll vendors Identifying opportunities to improve payroll procedures and implement more efficient workflows Troubleshooting and resolving payroll-related issues Ensure regional payroll practices align with relevant legal and compliance standards Preparing payroll-related financial data and ensuring accurate reporting into finance systems





What We're Looking For




Proven experience managing high-volume EMEA payroll. Dutch or German language skills are highly desirable (not essential). Excellent communication and administration skills with both internal teams and external partners. A proactive, positive approach to learning and cross-training. Strong adaptability and ability to respond quickly to changing requirements. Demonstrated success in meeting tight deadlines. Understanding of full end-to-end payroll processes is an advantage.
