The Reivernet Group of Companies is made up of seven entities: RN Projects, Reivernet, IT Triage, Site Compass, Bright Star, RN Gateway and RGC Management. The Technical Specialist role is with Reivernet which designs and manages complex ICT networks. We provide 24/7 configuration, monitoring, security, and support for our global clients. Our experienced teams use advanced systems and processes to troubleshoot, resolve and document complex network issues, keeping our customers business secure.
Role purpose
We're on the lookout for an EMEA Technical Specialist in Network Architecture who will play a crucial role in shaping network infrastructures, ensuring that they not only meets our customers current needs but also lays the foundation for future growth. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to influence the design and architecture of while collaborating with various teams to enhance technical capabilities. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on architecture, supporting both operational delivery and sales enablement. What you'll do
In this role, your core focus will span five essential areas. First, you'll lead network architecture and design, where you'll create and maintain comprehensive designs tailored to our current operations and future strategies. Your work will be grounded in best practices, always emphasizing security, high availability, and optimal performance. Continually reviewing and refining our existing network environment, you will create actionable plans for improvement to support resilient and scalable infrastructure.
Technical compliance will be at the heart of your approach. You'll ensure that all network systems and designs align with evolving industry standards, relevant policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. Through regular reviews and audits, you will proactively uncover gaps and address them--working closely with IT security to build advanced security measures into everything we architect.
Supporting project delivery is another key aspect. You'll engage with multiple teams and stakeholders to offer architectural guidance and technical insight throughout the lifecycle of network projects. Whether it's contributing to planning, helping shape timelines and budgets, or troubleshooting unexpected challenges during implementation, your technical expertise and collaborative spirit will ensure smooth integration and project success.
You'll also drive effective stakeholder engagement by building strong connections with colleagues across the business. Communicating complex technical topics in everyday language will be one of your strengths, as will seeking out and incorporating feedback to continually refine our approach. Who you are
We're looking for someone who brings proven experience in network architecture and design, ideally within complex or enterprise environments. Success in this role requires the ability to support large-scale network projects from inception to delivery, drawing on a technical foundation that includes deep knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and technologies such as LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewalls.
You're fluent in network security principles and familiar with best practices, with hands-on experience using network monitoring tools and optimizing performance. Most importantly, you pair these technical strengths with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excelling at troubleshooting even the most complex challenges. You communicate clearly and comfortably with both technical and non-technical colleagues, effortlessly translating intricate concepts into practical language.
