About the Role

Join a leading ECC team in a busy multi-disciplinary hospital setting, where you'll benefit from a structured rota that gives you genuine downtime. The caseload is diverse and engaging, covering both medical and surgical emergencies from around 40 referring practices. With no night shifts and no sole charge, this is an excellent environment for focused ECC work with outstanding support.

About the Practice

This is a 24/7 veterinary hospital with a fully integrated ECC and first opinion service. The facility includes advanced diagnostics and treatment options such as CT, endosurgery, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and full inpatient care. Dedicated ECC wards, multiple specialist theatres, and a highly trained support team mean you can focus on delivering exceptional care.

Location, Location, Location

Based in South Wales near Cardiff, the hospital offers access to a lifestyle-rich region--from the cultural and social buzz of the city to the natural beauty of the Vale of Glamorgan, Brecon Beacons, and coastal Wales. Whether you're into city life, hiking, cycling, or simply need room to breathe, there's something for everyone here.

Who We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced small animal vet with a strong interest in ECC. Whether you already hold a certificate or are looking to pursue one, you'll thrive in a team-based setting and enjoy working cases up thoroughly. Strong clinical judgement, communication skills, and a collaborative spirit are key.
