We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Dental Nurse to join our small team working for South Manchester Emergency Dental Service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and a strong commitment to patient care. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic while providing exceptional support to both patients and dental professionals.

Duties

Assist the dentist during emergency dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information about treatments and addressing any concerns they may have. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sterile environment. Provide post-operative care instructions to patients as directed by the dentist. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and improve clinic operations.

Qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. A genuine passion for patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of taking initiative when required.
