Role Overview

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced

Out of Hours Emergency Dentist

to provide urgent dental care across two established practices:

Peel Green Dental Practice

and

Blackley Dental Practice

. This role involves delivering high-quality emergency dental treatment outside of standard operating hours while upholding the highest standards of clinical governance and patient care.

The successful candidate will be confident working independently, adaptable to a multi-site environment, and able to represent the practices professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency dental assessments and treatment Diagnose and manage acute dental pain, trauma, infection, and swelling Perform emergency procedures including extractions, temporary restorations, and prescribing where clinically appropriate Ensure accurate, detailed, and timely clinical record keeping Maintain compliance with GDC standards, CQC regulations, and internal clinical protocols Deliver patient care with professionalism, empathy, and discretion Liaise appropriately with practice management and clinical teams

Essential Criteria

GDC registration with a valid licence to practise Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (preferred) Demonstrated competence in managing dental emergencies independently Experience using Exact and/or Dentally software, or willingness to undertake training Appropriate professional indemnity cover Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills Right to work in the UK

Desirable Criteria

Previous experience in private or emergency dental settings Availability for regular out-of-hours sessions
