We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide immediate medical assistance and support in emergency situations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pre-hospital care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the wider emergency response team. Duties

Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the situation upon arrival Provide first aid, basic life support, and advanced medical interventions as required Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition throughout the journey Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and incident reports Communicate effectively with patients, bystanders, and other emergency personnel to coordinate care Operate and maintain medical equipment and supplies in accordance with protocols Support training sessions or educational programmes related to emergency medical services when required Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and organisational policies

Qualifications

Valid certification as an Emergency Medical Technician recognised within the jurisdiction Enhanced DBS on Update Service Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly under pressure Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with patients and team members Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes Experience or interest in teaching or training others in emergency procedures is advantageous Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional during stressful situations Physical fitness to perform duties that may involve lifting or moving patients and equipment
