Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs)

Minor Injury Units (MIUs)

across Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, treat and discharge patients presenting with

minor illness and minor injury

Work autonomously in a

face-to-face setting

within a multidisciplinary team Carry out clinical assessments, wound care, plastering, X-ray interpretation, and prescribing (if qualified) Manage urgent, non-life-threatening presentations confidently and safely Use EMIS or similar systems for documentation (training available where needed)

What We're Looking For:

Registered Nurse (NMC) or Paramedic (HCPC) with relevant postgraduate qualifications Recent experience in

UTC / MIU /Primary Care / GP OOH

settings Confident with

minor injuries, minor illness

, and

independent clinical decision-making

Non-Medical Prescribing (V300)

DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one Commitment to delivering
