NGS is an international emergency response company specialising in medical assistance, tracking, travel, security risk management and evacuations. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the operations team at their head office in London. The role will be dynamic, challenging and shift-based in order to meet the 24hr demands from our client group.

Intial salary of GBP()27,000 pa rising to GBP()30,000 pa upon successful completion of a 6 month probation period.
Hours of work:
6 on 6 off shift-based roster
0800-2000hrs (3 days)
2000-0800hrs (3 nights)
6 days off
Annual Holiday:
24 days not including statutory public holidays.
Pension and Private Healthcare
As an Emergency Response Coordinator, your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Operational
Serve as a team member in the NGS operations centre providing 24hr support to global clients.
Operational command, control and coordination of emergency medical, political, natural disaster and security
response.
Ability to monitor global events, alerting and assisting clients in a proactive and reactive manner.
Operational planning and direct support to the shift manager.
Service emergency hotlines and triage requests as required.
Relationship management and preparation of evacuation plans.
Act as the dedicated point of contact for clients when on shift.
Be prepared to contribute to the NGS emergency management team (EMT) in the event of a client crisis or major response requirement.
Provide support and escalation options to the NGS tracking operations team.
Administrative
Maintain accurate records relating to all client objectives and requirements on NGS internal systems.
Case management and document control.
Manage and control third party providers in relation to tasks.
Monitor, in collaboration with NGS accounts, all client associated invoices and expenses.
Establish, grow and maintain networks and service providers.
Distribute knowledge to the wider NGS operations team regarding service provider capability.
Responsible for collating information in order to produce case studies.
Supportive
Support to the business including presenting to potential and current clients our operational capability and any relevant case briefs/updates.
Identify opportunities to promote and enhance NGS initiatives.
As an Emergency Response Coordinator, your knowledge, skills and experience will include:
Essential
2 years previous demonstrable and successful experience in travel assistance, medical and/or security response role. Including the organising and execution of evacuations, medical response and security related tasks.
Proven ability to deal with emergency situations and respond using a wide array of resources within specified timelines.
Ability to work within a dynamic response team in a challenging environment.
Ability to read, comprehend and organise taskings and client requests.
Excellent verbal, communication and writing skills.
Attention to detail and client focussed.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs and 365 applications.
To have worked and/or lived in the developing world (including hostile environments).
Have qualifications and hold previous record of training in relation to emergency management and response.
Desirable
Experience of providing wider security and risk management services.
Medical qualifications.
A second language, ideally French, German, Spanish, Mandarin or Arabic (or willing to study and improve competence).

NGS operates in a dynamic and fast moving global environment. The new Emergency Response Coordinator will be a team player, comfortable with response planning and working irregular hours. The position will need the confidence to speak at senior client level and the diligence to direct personnel when required.
