Job Description

Barnardo's are seeking to recruit a Employability Worker to support our service that covers the Highlands. This role is part of our wider Employment, Training and Skills (ETS) service within Barnardo's that delivers employability and skills support across the UK.



Job Criteria:


Previous experience of working with young people in Informal settings

Demonstrate the ability to deliver training to groups of young people

Experience of supporting young people on a one to one basis to help them to achieve their goals and remover barriers.

Demonstrate good skills in recording, completing paperwork to ensure we meet the needs of our funders

Good knowledge and understanding of key local Employability Provision

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band - this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
