Priority Express are a leading, award winning, local, independent courier company offering a full range of same day, overnight & international delivery services.

We currently have opportunities for cargo bike couriers to join our expanding Priority Zero team. Riding next generation electric assist cargo bikes and working alongside our e-van drivers you will be instrumental in helping Priority Express decarbonizing the last mile deliveries within central Cardiff

You will be a personable, people focused individual. Well-presented with the ability to provide customer service excellence and passionate about the environment.

The Role

Collecting & delivering documents and parcels across Cardiff

Maintaining up to date proof of delivery & tracking information using mobile apps and Epod scanners

Liaising with the operations teams and other depots to maintain the highest levels of service quality to the customer

Being an ambassador for our zero-emission fleet, helping to maintain great working relationships with our existing customers and promoting our services with a message of sustainability and responsibility

Normal working hours would be between 0830-1730 Monday to Friday

Candidate requirements

Previous parcel delivery experience would be a bonus but is not essential as full training and support will be provided.

Dynamic, hardworking with a positive attitude

Happy to work in all weathers throughout the year

Physically fit & able, this is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting & handling, delivering to properties with a variety of access e.g. multiple flights of stairs.

Road or cycling experience with knowledge & respect for the highway code (full UK drivers licence is not required)

Prepared to work unsupervised for long periods of time and able to use own initiative

Ability to communicate at all levels, with confidence and in a professional manner whether face to face or over the telephone

Punctual, presentable, trustworthy and very reliable.

Respectful and careful with bikes and equipment
