Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics and experience in coaching or teaching children of various ages. This role involves developing gymnastics skills, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants. You will be working throughout the week with a mixture of daytime, evening and Saturdays at our Tunbridge Wells, Edenbridge Academies along with some schools near these locations.

Duties

Head coach for Academy classes and school clubs. Plan and implement engaging gymnastics training sessions for students of different skill levels. Teach fundamental gymnastics techniques from recreational gymnastic levels through to squad level. Provide individual feedback to students to help improve their skills and confidence. Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a safe training environment and adhering to safety protocols. Monitor student progress and adjust training plans as necessary to meet individual needs. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among students during practice sessions. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance coaching skills and knowledge of gymnastics. Promote the Gymspire Academy brand at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in coaching or teaching,

particularly in gymnastics

. Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques and safety practices. Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting is preferred. Skills in behavior management to effectively engage with children and maintain a positive learning environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes. A commitment to fostering an inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued and encouraged to succeed. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
