Our Employee Benefits team is currently recruiting due to our continuing success and ambitious growth plans. We are looking to add an experienced employee benefits professional to support our existing portfolio and assist in the development of new clients.
The Role
Reporting into the Employee Benefits Director, this is a key role as you'll be fulfilling a brand-new position within the business. We are looking for a confident and experienced team player with a solid track record in the Employee Benefit industry, who is able to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with colleagues, clients and providers.
Your responsibilities will include
Delivering new business sales in line with business targets from both existing and new relationships
Creating business development plans and identifying strategies to enable the business to meet its targets
Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and enhancing service delivery
Producing written advice to clients that is relevant, accurate and comprehensive
Supporting and/or leading the development of new propositions to generate increased revenue
Identifying and analysing industry trends and developments to establish emerging client needs and business opportunities
Playing an active role in activities and initiatives aimed at promoting products and services in the marketplace
Providing coaching and mentoring support to colleagues
The Ideal Candidate
Must be experienced in advising across some of the different areas of Employee Benefits e.g. Group Risk, Healthcare, Flexible Benefits, Pensions
Will be committed to self-development and technically minded - some professional qualifications are preferred
Will have excellent knowledge of products and prioritisation of needs and best advice along with a thorough understanding of all regulatory aspects impacting upon this area
Will be passionate about delivering exceptional service
Will have strong commercial awareness and experience of discussing fees with clients
Be experienced working within a sales role/environment
