Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Employee Benefits Consultant

to help build and lead the next phase of our employee benefits practice. This role is both

growth-oriented and client-facing

--focused on developing new business relationships while serving as a trusted advisor to an established portfolio of employer clients.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a consultant who wants to

shape strategy, drive growth, and influence the long-term direction of the firm

. The right individual will play a central role in expanding our benefits platform and, if successful, will become part of the firm's

leadership team

.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Growth



Develop and execute strategies to build new employer and referral relationships Identify, pursue, and close new benefits consulting opportunities Partner with firm leadership and other practice areas to drive cross-referrals Represent the firm in the market through networking, industry events, and thought leadership

Client Management & Consulting



Serve as the primary advisor to an assigned group of employer clients Design and deliver employee benefits strategies aligned with clients' business goals Lead annual renewal planning, vendor negotiations, and cost-containment initiatives Provide guidance on plan design, funding strategies, compliance, and employee engagement Coordinate with internal service teams to ensure exceptional client experience

Practice & Leadership Development



Contribute to the strategic direction and build-out of the employee benefits practice Help refine processes, service models, and value propositions Mentor junior consultants and support team development as the practice grows Participate in leadership planning and decision-making as the role expands
Qualifications

7+ years of experience in employee benefits consulting, brokerage, or advisory roles Proven success in developing new business and managing long-term client relationships Deep knowledge of group health, ancillary benefits, and employer-sponsored plans Strong consultative skills with the ability to engage C-suite and HR leadership Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in building and leading a growing practice Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Preferred



Experience working in a multi-disciplinary advisory or wealth management firm Prior leadership, mentoring, or team-building experience

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
