Role purpose
Accountable for providing leadership to our Employee Experience (EX) team, leading the co-creation and delivery of our Employee Experience strategy and providing expertise and support to our internal teams across all elements of HR.
Accountable for our people policies and processes, legal compliance, recruitment, benefits, remuneration and leading our culture activity in collaboration with the matrix People and Culture leadership team and wider Strategic Leadership Team.
The role includes leading, inspiring and caring for teams across the business, managing exceptional client relationships and working collaboratively as part of the Strategic Leadership Team providing support and challenge to peers to achieve the best outcomes for our people, clients and business.
Key responsibilities
Lead and inspire our EX team of c.10 across business partnering, employee relations, recruitment and benefits, and airport ID Pass team to build a highly capable team with a great reputation.
Build strong relationships with our Ethos Farm Americas EX team to share best practise and drive consistency and efficiency where applicable.
Work collaboratively as part of the Strategic Leadership Team providing support and challenge to peers to achieve the best outcomes for our people, clients and business.
Lead the development and delivery of our EX strategy, working in partnership with our whole Strategic Leadership Team and specifically our COO and Directors of Learning and Capability, Safety and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
Lead and/or partner on delivery of internal strategic projects and initiatives and provide EX expertise on relevant consultancy projects.
Ensure legal compliance with employment and other related legislation and that changes are factored into our business planning; manage risk balancing the needs of the business and what's right for our colleagues and clients.
Own all company policies and ensure they are reviewed annually, communicated and that colleagues understand their responsibilities.
Provide our Finance and outsourced Payroll team with timely and accurate data to enable accurate and on time pay to colleagues and be responsible for annual Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap reporting.
Be accountable for all colleague data, records and compliance with GDPR and other requirements such as Right to Work.
Be the custodian of our Ethos Farm values and ensure they are embedded in how we behave.
Lead the administration of our annual Great Place to Work survey and annual pulse check, and the active review of results and action planning at a company, functional and site specific level to deliver better outcomes for colleagues.
Enable a culture where our people are at the heart of everything we do, feel psychologically safe, have opportunity to excel and where our Company Values are demonstrated every day.
Deliver all business practices safely, ethically, sustainably and in compliance with legislation.
Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve outcomes and enhance efficiency.

Required knowledge, skills and experience
Essential:
Right to Work in UK.
CIPD qualification level 7, Postgraduate degree or Master's degree in relevant field.
Experience of operating at Head of, or Director level in a similar sized business and with large front line operational teams.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice, and compliance.
Strong project planning capability to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet expectations.
Ability to lead and inspire others and provide meaning.
Demonstrate values and ways of working aligned to our Company Values and Purpose.
